🏡 BOARDING ONLY (No Formal Training)

For owners who need short-term care in a livestock setting.

Includes:

• Daily feeding & watering
   

• Secure shelter
   

• Visual exposure to livestock (no bonding work)
   

• Health monitoring
   

💰 $50 per day

Not intended to correct behavior or bond dog to livestock.

 

 

🐑 BASIC LGD BOARD & TRAIN

(Bonding & Foundations)

Minimum Stay: 30 days

Ideal for: Young dogs, new placements, or dogs lacking livestock manners

Includes:

• Controlled livestock bonding
   

• Calm behavior around stock
   

• Respect for fencing & boundaries
   

• Reduced roaming behaviors
   

• Daily supervision & management
   

• Weekly owner updates
   

💰 $1,750 per 30 days

 

 

🛡️ INTERMEDIATE LGD TRAINING

(Working Guardian Development)

Minimum Stay: 60 days

Ideal for: Adolescents or problem-placement dogs

Includes:

• Advanced livestock bonding
   

• Correcting chasing/rough play
   

• Nighttime pasture exposure
   

• Predator awareness shaping
   

• Pack behavior evaluation
   

• Owner transition plan

🐺 ADVANCED / PROBLEM LGD TRAINING

(Case-by-Case Only)

Ideal for:

• Livestock aggression issues
   

• Roaming / fence-breaking dogs
   

• Human-bonded dogs needing livestock reset

• Custom training plan
   

• Intensive management
   

• Owner education & transition support

1. PURPOSE OF TRAINING

The purpose of this program is to develop or improve livestock guardian behavior, including livestock bonding, calm stock interaction, boundary respect, and appropriate guardian instincts. Livestock guardian dogs are not obedience dogs, and outcomes depend on genetics, maturity, and previous experiences.

 

 

2. NO GUARANTEES

Client understands that:

• LGD behavior develops over months to years, not weeks
   

• No guarantees are made regarding predator deterrence or future behavior
   

• Training improves likelihood of success but does not override genetics
   

 

 

3. RISKS & LIABILITY

Client acknowledges that:

• Livestock work carries inherent risk to dogs and animals
   

• Trainer is not liable for injury, illness, escape, or death unless caused by gross negligence
   

• Client assumes all risk related to livestock exposure
   

 

 

4. VETERINARY CARE

• Client confirms dog is healthy, vaccinated, and parasite-free
   

• Emergency care may be provided if needed
   

• Client is financially responsible for all veterinary costs
   

 

 

5. PAYMENT TERMS

• Payment due before or at drop-off
   

• No refunds for early removal
   

• Extended stays billed at daily rate
   

 

 

6. OWNER RESPONSIBILITY AFTER TRAINING

Client understands:

• Improper transition can undo training
   

• Trainer provides guidance but cannot control future management
   

• Follow-up coaching is strongly recommended
   

 

 

7. TERMINATION

Trainer reserves the right to terminate training if:

• Dog poses extreme danger to livestock or people
   

• Dog is unmanageable beyond reasonable training scope
   

• Owner misrepresents dog’s history or health
